Tom Collier
San Antonio | South Texas
Tom, our Vice President and COO, has 30 years of experience in architecture providing an excellent resource.
As a leader at CDCC, he knows that a company is only as good as its employees. Tom enjoys developing his employees and seeing them grow professionally. In his personal time, Tom enjoys serving his church, hitting the trails on a hike, enjoying a bike ride, spending time with his wife and two grown children.

Dustin Heitmann
Houston | Southeast TX
Dustin is the Principal for our Houston office. He joined the CDCC team in 2014 after 18 years in construction and banking.

Joe Fulcher
Dallas | Fort Worth
Joe is the Principal for our Dallas/Fort Worth office. He joined the CDCC team in 2009.
During his time away from the office, Joe enjoys time with his wife, coaching his kids’ little league teams, watching football and looking for that next great catch while fishing or hunting.

Collin Wright
Denver | Colorado
Collin is the Principal for our Denver office. He joined the CDCC team in 2016.
Prior to CDCC, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, and spent time working for a general contractor as well as a development firm. Seeing multiple sides of the construction industry has given him valuable insight in his role protecting Lenders’ interests at CDCC. Outside work, Collin enjoys hiking and fishing with his three children.

Ben Fulcher
Austin
Ben is the Principal for our Austin office. He joined the CDCC team in 2021 after working for over a decade as an engineer.
After graduating from The University of Texas with a master’s degree in engineering, Ben worked in various manufacturing, design, construction management, R&D project management, and engineering management roles in the 3D Printing and Solar Energy industries. Through these experiences, he honed his problem-solving, team building & leadership, and organizational skillsets, enabling him to effectively lead part of the high caliber team at CDCC. He is also a husband and a father of three kids and serves as a deacon at his church.
Outside of the office, you can find Ben attempting to be a mechanic, doing woodworking, hanging out with his family, and doing all kinds of outdoor activities – coaching little-league teams, fishing and hunting.

John Jakubik
Houston
John is the Vice President for our Houston office. He joined the CDCC team in 2015 after 24 years in construction and business management.
He is a native Houstonian, graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Construction Science, started his career in residential construction before moving to industrial and commercial construction with international firms. He also has experience in business management as well as land development, marine construction, and civil engineering business management which gives him extensive experience in all facets of engineering and construction. His experience brings a broad view of and project management experience of all types of construction which really brings value to our clients with his oversight. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, trail riding on his motorcycle, and attending sporting events of all types.

Peter Munnerlyn
Dallas | Fort Worth
Peter is the Sales & Marketing Manager. He joined the CDCC team in 2024.
He is a seasoned marketing professional with over 13 years of experience driving growth, engagement, and brand loyalty across various industries. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three kids. He also enjoys reading and playing racquetball.

John Kane
Phoenix | Arizona
After a decade at JP Morgan Chase and with nearly 25 years of construction experience in Arizona, John joined CDCC in 2025 to help lead CDCC's office location in Phoenix, Arizona.

Andy Nix
Birmingham
Andy joined CDCC in 2026, bringing with him a diverse professional background that bridges both finance and the built environment.
A graduate of the University of Alabama, he began his career in the financial industry, where he focused on market development and strategic growth. This early experience sharpened his ability to analyze risk, manage client relationships, and make sound, data-driven decisions.
He later transitioned into the architecture industry, joining a highly regarded firm where he concentrated on project risk management, quality control, and comprehensive due diligence. In this role, Andy has been closely involved with high-end projects, ensuring that design intent, construction execution, and financial considerations align to deliver successful outcomes. His combined experience allows him to approach projects with a balanced perspective—understanding both the financial implications and the technical demands of complex developments.
Andy has been based in Birmingham since 2003 and brings a broad regional perspective, having roots in both Georgia and Texas. Outside of his professional work, he prioritizes time with his wife and their two sons, valuing family as a central part of his life.
